FIFTH AVENUE THEATRE REPORT OF WEEK --- JULY 10th-1911 POLLARD F.S. 15 Mins. Juggler. Single man. Juggles with billiard cues, balls and so forth. His comedy is rather weak and the act is little out of the ordinary. DEFAYE SISTERS. Olio in 1 8 Mins. Two rather attractive girls who dress well and play mandoline and banjo acceptably. McDEVITT KELLY AND LUCEY. C.D.F. 18 Mins. Nice looking woman and two men. They do an eccentric dance and a little piano playing. Good variety act with considerable comedy but not much class. CAESAR RIVOLI C.D.F.--21 Mins. Close in 1 -10 Mins He opens with protean comedy sketch and closes with his imitations of composers done from orchestra's pit. This is the best part of his act and never fails to make good. Is a very cheap act for the money and fully as good as any protean act we have played. NINA MORRIS & CO. F.S. Int. 23 Mins "Who Shall Condemn". Serious dramatic sketch. Exceptionally well acted by Arthur Hopps and Menifee Johnstone, two well known dramatic people. This act is above the ordinary vaudeville offering and went exceptionally well here, taking six to eight calls. RAY COX. Olio in 1. 14 Mins Went well as usual but Miss Cox is sadly in need of new material as she has been seen so often in New York with this offering that nearly every vaudeville attendant has nearly learnt it by heart. JARROW Dr. 1 15 Mins Comedy conjuror. Has some very good tricks and goes well. IOLEEN SISTERS Gar. 4. 6 MINS Tight wire act. They are two attractive looking girls. The biggest part of their act consists of shooting from the wire at clay pigeons which is a novelty. The act made very good and is a desirable act of its kind and would stand repeating here at some future time. KINETOGRAPH "The Irish Lad". Good story film showing scenes in Ireland and New York with appropriate Irish melodies. It went as well as any act on the bill. NOTE;- It was difficult to get a line on this show owing to small attendance and most of the acts would have gone much better with larger houses. Robert E Irwin Manager
