BOSTON SHOW - WEEK AUGUST 14, '11. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) HARRY TSUDA. 11 minutes f.s. One of the best of the balancing acts and made a good opener. WILLIAMS & WARNER. 15 minutes f.s. open and close in one. this is a rather unique European musical act, with enough novelty about it to make it more than worth while, and the comedy is good in spots. All passes. WILL ROGERS. 14 minutes f.s. Doing his act without the horse. Talking and entertaining all through and closed very big to-night. CARROLL & COOKE. 14 minutes in one. I put these men up on the bill from this afternoon, and they went very well indeed. Got laughs all through and closed fair. CHARLES RICHMAN & CO. 13 minutes f.s. "The Fire Escape." 4 people. This is a very fair sketch and got laughs all through at both shows, but it seems to me much more could be made of it. The finish is a bit weak. CARL MCCULLOUGH. 17 minutes in one. This young man went very well at both shows to-day, and was put down on the bill, holding the spot in very good shape. Is really a good lively act in one, and good value for the money. MAJOR & ROY. 14 minutes f.s. This is the old Bedini & Arthur act, and certainly good value for the money. Held this spot in good shape. MELVILLE & HIGGINS. 17 minutes in one. Doing pretty much the same line of stuff with new songs, and getting lots of laughs. In fact, in this spot went very big to-night and closed strong. GUS EDWARDS' NEW SCHOOL BOYS AND GIRLS. 38 minutes f.s. close in one. This is about the best company that Edwards has had in this act, with the possible exception of the original, and there are more real workers, as nearly everyone of the ten has something to do, and gets away with it in good shape. Held the audience to the finish to-night. CUTS. Carroll & Cooke - verses about rip in bathing suit and boy being spanked. School Boys & Girls were instructed not to throw baseballs and slates into the audience. Music Hall Pawtucket R. I. 3 days August 10--11--12 Harry M. Morse & Co Comedy Sketch, two women and man, rural, went well, singing and dancing introduced, 18 minutes Nola Family 3 women and man, Trapeze, nicely dressed, clever work went very good, 10 minutes High Life in Jail Going Big, better than first three days David R Buffinton
