BOSTON SHOW WEEK SEPT. 18, 1911. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday Night Show.) WENTWORTH, VESTA & TEDDY. 9 minutes in one. A crackerjack tumbling and acrobatic act with a very clever dog, that started things off in great shape to-day. Almost too good to open a show. CORINNE FRANCIS. 9 minutes in one. Miss Francis has a pleasing appearance, and her songs, with one exception, are new to this house, but for some reason she failed to make much of an impression here to-day. LANCTON-LUCIER CO. 20 minutes f.s. close in one. This wellknown team repeated their success of former visits, getting laughs all through, and a good hand at the finish. MEEHAN'S DOGS. 13 minutes f.s. A very well-dressed, fast working dog act, with some good comedy. A great feature particularly for the youngsters. Closed strong. SULLY & HUSSEY. 22 minutes in one. these boys have a good line of stuff and got laughs all through. MR & MRS PERKINS FISHER IN "THE HALFWAY HOUSE." 18 minutes f.s. Held down this position in good shape, getting plenty of laughs and closing well. THREE WHITE KUHNS. 12 minutes in one. Three clean-looking chaps with a first rate routine of songs and music on the mandolin, and "bull fiddle." Went well all through and closed strong. FOUR HUNTINGS IN "THE FOOL HOUSE." 25 minutes f.s. close in one. This wellknown team held down this position in good shape, getting laughs all through from an audience that had been waiting all the afternoon to see Houdini. HARRY HOUDINI. 23 minutes f.s. open with picture sheet in one. Houdini is showing some films of his feats in Paris and his aero racing in Australia, as a sort of introduction to his act. This afternoon he squirmed out of a straight jacket in less than three minutes, and performed his water escape trick, both being greeted with close attention. We stood 'em up at both shows to-day, and there can be no question but what Houdini still retains his drawing power in Boston. Music Hall, Pawtucket Week of Sept. 28-29-30 Ariel Barbours - 2 men - Novelty Ring and Trapeze - 8 min - went good Doyle & Boyle - Going good Christine Hill & Co. - 3 men, 1 woman - Character Sketch "Fate," - 12 min. - went poor Pelham. - Going big
