TRENT THEATRE CRITICISM, WEEK OF OCTOBER 9, 1911 By J. F. Clancy. HARRY THRILLER "The Lad with the Tables and Chairs." Uses full stage. Mr. Thriller does some very thrilling work balancing himself upon pyramids built of tables and chairs. His work is not unlike that of Harry DeCoe. While Mr. Thriller's work is very sensational he does not seem to go here. He left the stage this afternoon with very little applause. CLARE & WEST Singing, dancing and piano-playing in "One." A fair act. The songs and piano numbers might show a better selection but the dancing is good. Act gets by very nicely. W. B. PATTON & CO. Comedy sketch, entitled "Apple Blossoms." Full stage. Uses own setting. A very pretty little playlet. Does not contain much action but will do anywhere #2 or #3 on the bill. HIBBERT & WARREN Blackface comedy in "one." This is a very funny act. Starts off a little quiet, but finishes strong. EIGHT FLORENTINE SINGERS Operatic singing act. Opens in full stage, closes in "one." This act went unusually well this afternoon. In this Miss Littlefield has assembled one of the best organizations of operatic singers I have ever heard. MARIE RUSSELL Singing comedienne in "one." Miss Russell sang seven songs this afternoon and three encores, on her last number, which is going some in this house. Miss Russell is the best single woman we have had this season. COLLINS & HART This well-known act closed the show in good shape. Music Hall, Pawtucket, R. I. Week of Nov. 30-Dec 1-2 Hilton & Bannon - 2 men - Sketch - "The Battle of Too Soon" - 13 min - went good Carleton Sisters - Singing and Dancing - 12 min in one went good William Raymore & Co - Going good Bert Melrose - Going big
