GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURGH, PA., OCTOBER 23rd, 1911. FIRE COMMISSIONER. 18 minutes. Full stage. Special set. A very bad sketch with very bad actors. Am sorry that I did not close it. FIDDLER & SHELTON. Open and close in One. Comedy singing and piano playing. A very good act. Going very good. McCORMACK & WALLACE. Special drop in 3. 17 minutes. This is a clever act. Entirely different from any other acts in this line that we have played. They carry five figures and are a big hit at every performance. FOX & MILLERSHIP SISTERS. 17 minutes. Olio. This is an exceptionally neat act and they are all clever performers. Doing fine for us. STRENGTH BROS. Garden in two. 7 minutes. Hand to hand acrobats. I consider them among the best acts doing this style of work. ALEXANDER & SCOTT. 20 minutes. This is the third time we have played this act. They have been a big hit with us on their previous engagements, but this time they are just making good. While they are dressing the act and their work is fully as good as ever, I think the great value in this act was the surprise when the wig was removed. Since our patrons are all familiar with the act, the taking off of the wig is not a surprise and they miss the big finish they received heretofore. FAMOUS BELL FAMILY. 30 minutes. Full stage. Palace. Undoubtedly the greatest musical act that we have ever played. Also the biggest hit and best dressed. RAYMOND & CAVERLY. 18 minutes. Street. German comedians. A big hit at every performance. FOUR DIVING NORINS. 12 minutes. Full stage. Wood. This, in my opinion, is the best of the diving acts and if they were to use a tank like Kellerman, I am sure the act could be made a big drawing card. John P. Harris, Manager
