REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK OCT 30TH. 1911. -- W. W. Prosser. [HON? NON?] & TRACEY: Two young men in a cartoon act, and as good an offering of the kind as has been seen here. Each picture won applause. -- Cartooning people in the audience made a distinct hit. Very satisfactory act. Finish strong. Special in 2, 10 minutes. (Act is open) SHAPRE & TUREK: Young man and woman in a singing and dancing number. Dancing of the eccentric. Got along fairly well winning applause and finishing moderately strong. 11 minutes, landscape in 1. (Act is open.) BARNES & CRAWFORD: "The Fakir and The Lady", well known variety skit that proved a genuine laughing hit. The "quick-stuff" of Barnes went big, both of the people were remembered from the last engagement. Nothing left to be desired. Library and street in one 23 minutes. (Act is open) WONDER KETTLE: This novelty held the closest attention. Each of the stunts was appreciated. The act is well presented. Frying eggs, burning ice, lighting cigars, making tea and various other feats were the tricks shown. Good solid applause at finish. Palace in 4, 16 minutes. (Act is open.) MACK & WALKER: "The Dollar bill" -- Singing and talking act of the kind for which this pair have an established standing. A credit to the bill and representative of refinement combined with genuine merit. Many a laugh bestowed, indicative of true enjoyment but not of the rowdy order. Good strong finish. Special drop in one 17 minutes. (Go to Syracuse) BYRON & LANGDON: "The Dude Detective" -- Made good throughout causing continuous laughter and applause. Got along excellently finishing strong. C. D. F. in 3 17 minutes. (Go to New York.) THREE WHITE KUHNS: Three young men singing and playing mandolin, guitars and base fiddle. An unqualified riot. Went like a cyclone taking enchore after enchore and bows galore. Have enough energy for half a dozen ordinary acts. Big hit. Olio in one 16 minutes. (Go to Cleveland) THE DIVING NORINS: We have played them all but none of the previous have anything on this act judging from the reception. Introduce any number of new tricks and make good with all. Fine finish. Garden in 5 14 minutes. (Go to Louisville.) Moving picture O. K.
