B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Cleveland, O. Oct. 31, 1911 F. H. Brandt HATHAWAY'S MONKEYS" Miss Hathaway carries about 15 small monkeys and 4 or 5 large ones. It is a great act for the children and is too good to open the show Went very well. F.S. 12 min. Next week DETROIT FRED DUPREZ Monologist. 12 min. in one. This act started very quietly but finished very good. Held the spot in pretty good shape. Next week DETROIT. FREY TWINS Physical culture experts. Palace, 8 min. This is a very neat act. They demonstrate all the different holds in wrestling, afterwards go through a 2 min. wrestling match. Work very fast. Went very good. Next week TOLEDO. RAYMOND & CAVERLY Dutch comedians. 18 min. in one. This act is well known and needs very little comment. They open with a lot of new stuff and finish with their talk about Watt St. which went big as ever. Finished very strong. Next week SYRACUSE. JOHN C. RICE & SALLY COHEN In "A Bachelor's wife". C.D.F., 27 min. It has been some 3 or 4 yrs since this act has been here. They seem to work just as good as ever and held this spot down in fine shape. There are plenty of laughs and good clean comedy. NExt Week PITTSBURGH. ALICE LLOYD 30 min. in one. There is very little use saying anything about this act except that it is just as good as ever. Her songs are all new and good. Went just as big as ever. The only old one she sings is "Splash Me" and she only does this because they won't let her off the stage Next week NEW YORK, 267 W. 89th St. THE BELL FAMILY Mexican musicians and dancers. F.S., Mat. 25 min., eve., 35. They bill themselves as The Greatest Act of Its Kind In Vaudeville. This is about all I can say about it. They carry 3 women and 6 men and so many different bells that it looks as if the whole stage were covered. I can't say too much about the act. NEXT WEEK TOLEDO.
