FIFTH AVENUE THEATRE Criticism On Show -- Week Of Nov. 6th, 1911. NOTE:- Hurray! --- Glad I'm back on the big time. The entire show is very strong. There is not a bad act on the bill and every number seemed to make a great impression. A Great Show. IOLEEN SISTERS. Two young ladies presenting a very neat wire act introducing some remarkable sharp shooting. Great work and a rattling good opener. (Full stage --- 12 minutes.) EVA SHIRLEY & SAM KESSLER. Singing and dancing duo. Miss Shirley has a remarkable voice and knows how to put her songs over, while Sam Kessler holds up the dancing and in great shape. A very pleasing act and went well. (Work in one --- 14 Minutes) THE LANGDONS. Two men and one woman in a spectacular travesty, entitled "A Night On The Boulevard". They carry their own illuminated back drop and two prop automobiles, which contain many great effects, together with a good line of witty talk. Their material is bright and they managed to secure a lot of laughs. The act is intensely interesting and being entirely new in this part of the country, they held the audience in great shape. (Full stage --- 15 Minutes) CARL MC CULLOUGH. Here is a classy, clean cut and refined young chap with a wonderful voice, a new face to Broadway and one who certainly knows how to deliver. His act consists of a little singing, a little monologue and a few imitations which he calls "Footlight Impressions". All of his work is very good and has been compelled at every performance to encore. While his act runs 17 minutes, they seem to appreciate every minute he is one the stage. Here is one act that Well know. Big favorites here. Very good. (Street----22 Minutes) "EVERYWIFE" A symbolic play in four scenes. Excellent company and nicely staged. I think the act is too well known to give any detailed criticism. It was intensely interesting and held the audience until the finish. An excellent act. (Special set, full stage----37 Minutes) E. F. ROGERS.
