REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK NOV. 13 -- 1911. -- W. W. Prosser. DEONZO BROS: Two men, straight and blackface, in bottle jumping and comedy acrobatic stunts. All in all a good number but too much time consumed stalling. Could easily condense and get better results. Finished fairly strong. 17 minutes, conservatory in 4. (Next week open.) AL LAWRENCE: Some old material and some new all of which went well. Made good impression throughout and finished strong. Olio in 1, 15 minutes. (Next week Pittsburgh.) CHAS LAWLER & DAUGHTERS: Vocal character studies. A decided favorite throughout, applause after each song and a strong finish. Special in 4 and olio in 1 21 minutes. (Next week open.) MIDDLETON, SPELLMYER CO.: "A Texas Wooing"-- as good a number as one could wish. Undivided interest maintained. Every line appreciated. Corking good finish. A credit to the bill. Special Cyc. in 5, 15 minutes. (Next Week Scranton.) FANNY RICE: First time here in years and a big laughing hit. Her "Minature Mimic Stage" struck them as something entirely new. Liberal applause and good finish. Olio in 1, 15 minutes. (Next week New York.) BOWERS, WALTERS, & CROCKER.: "The Three Rubes" -- A big laugh throughout. Plenty of applause and a strong finish. Landscape, cottage etc. in 4, 13 minutes. (Next week Atlanta) RAYMOND & CAVERLY: Notwithstanding the laughing show ahead of them these boys take the medal. -- The house howled with delight. A lot of new material and some of the old, and all of it a scream. They have about established themselves here as a fun riot, no matter who precedes them, or how many times they have played the house. Dandy finish. Street in one 22 minutes. (Next week open.) THE BELL FAMILY: A very beautiful musical offering with ten people. A melody number of exceptional merit. Each selection favorably received. Buffered some through closing the show, several leaving before the really best part of the act was presented. As a closer they should get to it quickly and not stop to bow and make pictures. Good strong finish. 25 minutes palace in 4. Next week Washington.) MOTION PICTURE O. K.
