Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of NOVEMBER 13th, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The show played very well indeed and evidently gave satisfaction with the exception of one acct. THE 3 MARCANTONIS Are to appear at the night performance, taking the place of BERTISCH, whom we didn't have on account of a mix-up in the bookings. St. ONGE TRIO was brought in from Pawtucket this afternoon, and did very well indeed. DALE & BOYLE Well-known act which fared very well in this spot. 10 Min. in One. SNYDER & BUCKLEY Has-beens. Never again!--The only act in the show that fell down. Moved up to this spot from a more important place. The first part of their act is exactly as they have been doing for 15 years. They have a new stunt in One, which promises well at the beginning but becomes rather tiresome. 18 Min. open F. S. Close in One. LEROY & HARVEY Very good sketch, pretty well played. Got quite a few laughs. Good value for the money. 17 Min. F. S. WORK & OWER Comedy acrobats. Originally had these men in a lower spot on the bill, but they didn't seem to do as well as on a previous occasion, consequently moved up here for the night show. 8 Min. in One. STEWART & ALEXANDRIA Two girls in quite a novel sketch containing some bright lines and a little touch of pathos. Well received all through and a good hand at the finish. 18 Min. F. S. EDDIE ROSS Blackface comedian with a little banjo playing, singing, dancing and whistling. Ross is a mighty clever fellow and made a real hit with the audience this afternoon. 13 Min. in One. CHARLOTTE PARRY & CO. Protean sketch "Into the Light." Very well received. Held the audience interestedly. Strong closing applause. 24 Min. F. S. THE BIG CITY 4 Well-known quartette which duplicated here the success they have been meeting with in other cities. 15 Min. in One. MEEHAN'S DOGS Fast comedy act of the regulation order. Closed the show in good style. 15 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
