Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of November 20, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. EDWIN GEORGE The talkative juggler. This act somewhat resembles that of Harrigan, other than he doesn't work in tramp make-up, but he does a lot of talking and juggling, both of which are good, especially his talk. Could hold a spot in the bill down No. 3 or 4 with perfect satisfaction. Splendid bargain for the money. 13 Min. in One. THE DE LAUR DUO An off-shoot of the old Delaur & Debrimont act which failed to satisfy. Neither of the women have particularly good voices. The younger one has the ability to take some very high notes. That's about all there is to the act. Didn't go very well. 14 Min. in One. FRANKLYN ARDELL & CO. In a very fast comedy sketch entitled "The Suffragette." The sketch is filled with ridiculous situations and some funny speeches. While I wouldn't say it was greatly played, nevertheless, they had the audience screaming with laughter. A very good act from the audience's standpoint. 16 Min. F. S. H. T. MCCONNELL & CO. His act is very well known. Somehow or other, he didn't make as big a hit as he did on his last appearance, altho he did very well. 19 Min. in One. THE AURORA TROUPE Bicyclists. Unquestionably the greatest act of the kind ever in the theatre. 15 Min. F. S. BERT FITZGIBBON Same old "knock-out;" altho practically all of his material is the same as last season. 22 Min. in One. "A ROMANCE OF THE UNDERWORLD" It was evident by the big house that we had at this afternoon's performance that this act has drawn some money and I am sure that after word has been passed around as to its merits, it is going to draw us a lot more. Inasmuch as everybody knows all about the rest of the act, we will let it go at that. 42 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
