BOSTON SHOW WEEK NOVEMBER 20, 1911. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) KING BROTHERS. 8 minutes in one. Special drop. This is a very good opening act. The two boys do some very clever work in balancing and feats of strength. Got a good hand. KNIGHT BROTHERS and SAWTELLE. 18 minutes in two. Special drop. This is a rather far-feteched comedy sketch in which some song and dance artists endeavor to be comedians and get it over only fairly well. GRACE FREEMAN. 14 minutes in one. Miss Freeman is a very attractive woman and for a number of years was popular in the H. W. Savage companies. She sings four songs and wears some very stunning costumes. For a single woman she went very well here and with the aid of a boy in the gallery finished very big to-night. EDMUND HAYES and CO IN "THE PIANO MOVER." 17 minutes f.s. For a rough comedy act this is one of the best we have played in a long time. Both Hayes and the man he has with him are good comedians and they certainly had the audience laughing for fair at both shows. The act now finishes with the piano moving stunt and ends big. AMOROS SISTERS. 12 minutes f.s. open in one. Doing the same act as before and going as well as ever. HARRY VON TILZER. 34 minutes in two. Von Tilzer sings three or four songs, then has a number of plants in the audience out of which he gets considerable comedy. Some of it is not just the right kind for a house in which people object to having the spotlight thrown on them, and a good deal of it is long drawn out. He gets away with it, however, in very good shape. "THE HOLD UP." 17 minutes f.s. Special set. We are not playing dramatic acts in this house but "The Hold Up" is an exception. The effects of the moving trains are far and away the best we have ever had here and the act went very big at both shows. KAUFMANN BROTHERS. 14 minutes in one. These boys in a hard spot held it in good shape. HOWARD'S PONIES. 15 minutes f.s. One of the best animal acts we have to-day and a splendid closing feature. NO CUTS.
