REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK OF NOV. 20th. 1911. W.W. PROSSER. CLAUDE ROODE: Wire walker who does a lot of good tricks all of which went very well. Finished moderately strong. Terrace in four, 8 min. (Goes to Pittsburg) LINDEN BECKWITH: Sang four songs and got along well. Made favorable impression and finished strong. Olio in one, 13 minutes. (Goes to Baltimore) ROBERTY TRIO: French dancing number, two men and one woman. Notwithstanding that the kind of dancing offered is not especially known here the act made a favorable impression and gained applause and a good finish. Conservatory in four, 11 minutes. (Goes to Cleveland) MR. & MRS JIMMIE BARRY: Comedy skit, "The Rube"--Excellent laughing number with surprise finish that won a big hand. Favorably received with liberal applause. Specials in one & two, 24 minutes. (Goes to Pittsburgh) JARROW: Comedy magician. Different from the others and both interesting and humorous. Moderately strong finish indicative of being thoroughly liked. Olio in one, 18 minutes. (Goes to Cleveland) MAY TULLY & CO: Comedy "Battle Cry Of Freedom". Just a little slow at the opening but after that a good solid laugh throughout. Fine work from Miss Tully and capable support. Subject, Divorce Life In Reno. Very strong finish. Interior in three, 25 minutes. (Goes to Trenton) JACK WILSON TRIO: Just as big a hit as ever, a veritable comedy riot. Strong finish. Street in one, 27 minutes. (Goes to Toledo) DE KOS TROUPE: Two men, one woman and a boy.--Act a la Willie Pantzer. All in all just as good, showing some remarkable tricks. Applause throughout and strong finish. Palace in five, 10 minutes. (Act is open) PICTURES, O.K.
