TRENT THEATRE CRITICISM, WEEK OF NOVEMBER 27, 1911 By J. F. Clancy. AFTERNOON SHOW WENTWORTH, VESTA & "TEDDY" Acrobats in "one." A very good act and started the show going in good shape. HARVEY & DE VORA TRIO Dancing act in "one." An act that seems just a little different from the offerings of the other "lumber tappers" and gets by on the strength of its novelty. STEWART & ALEXANDRIA Comedy sketch, entitled "Broadway Love." Full stage. Lots of bright lines, a good story and goes well. LOUIS STONE I was particularly pleased with the performance of Mr. Stone this afternoon, as he is occupying a rather hard place on the bill, closing the first half of our show. His act is a very novel one and was frequently interrupted by applause. INTERMISSION MAY TULLY One act comedy, entitled "Battle Cry of Freedom." Full stage. This act, which has been providing other towns on the circuit with so much laughter, happens to be placed in a rather unfortunate position, following the act of Stewart & Alexandria, to whose plot and story there is a great degree of similarity. Notwithstanding this Miss Tully put the comedy over in good shape and we are very much pleased with the result. STELLA TRACEY Singing act in "one." A very clever little girl. Held this spot on the bill well. THREE ESCARDOS Although this act runs but seven minutes these boys do some decidedly sensational work on the bounding table. A very good closing act.
