REPORT OF COLONIAL, LAWRENCE, WEEK OF DEC. 4, 1911. John F. Adams, Critic. Kennedy and Mac:- "The Bumpo-Maniacs" only an ordinary knockabout acrobatic act which only pleased. 8 min. full stage. Scotti Provan - Scotch Entertainer, a few stories, some fair violin playing, not a very strong act. 15 min. in one. Munro and Mack - in their comedy "The New Recruit" three people, a good comedy act. Ed. Munro as the colored new recruit work very good. Act is full of amusing situations and was received very good. 13 min. full stage, own drop. Six O'Connor Sisters - Harmonious Singing Sextette. This is the third time we have played this act and seems to go better than ever, they make a pretty stage appearance, voices blend good and songs well chosen. Taken all together act made a hit. 16 min. in one. Chinko - European Juggler. A great juggling act in fact as good as any I have ever seen, the ease with which he does his work catches from the start, act made a hit. 14 min. full stage. Mc Cormick and Wallace - Australian Ventriloquil Novelty. A very good ventriloquil act. Man and woman both doing ventriloquil work using four dummies. Act went very good 20 min. in two, close in one five min. own drop. Ioleen Sisters - Novelty sharpshooters and tight wire experts A good novelty balancing and shooting act which closed show very good. 7 min. full stage. Motion Pictures - O. K. Report Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. David R. Buffinton J. Wallace Mackay Imitations, monologue; his monologue is good and imitations of musical instruments are clever 11 minutes in one, Went very well Allen, Byron and Blanche Comedy sketch The Tin Wedding, two men and a woman got plenty of laughs, nothing out of the ordinary, went well, 18 min. C. D. F. Doc O'Neil Comedian with a style all his own is the way he is billed and he sure did make them laugh. White face, his stuff is all good and up to date, songs were a big hit 18 minutes in one The Great Asahi, assisted by the Asahi quintette Japanese 5 people, 4 men and a woman, also a manager who announces the most important tricks. This act should draw some business, elegant costumes, special scenery. The tricks and foot juggling are great. Got the people talking. 20 minutes full stage Pictures O. K.
