CHASE'S WASHINGTON
Week Dec. 4th, 1911
LOUIS STONE
Mr. Stone works very hard and does some really good dancing of a novelty character. F. S. but usually works in one.
JOHNNY JOHNSTON
His parody on "The Poet and Peasant" is probably the best thing he does. In one.
ISABELL D'ARMAND and FRANK [CARTER? CANTER?]
Their songs, dialogue, dances, costume changes etc. all go to make up a good comedy performance which we commend. Both are  clever. F. S. closing in one.
J. C. NUGENT and Co.
"The Rounder". Mr. Nugent knows how to write his own plays and then he knows how to play the part written for himself and he has capable support in Miss York. He made a hit last year in "The Squarer" and repeated it today in "The Rounder". F. S.
INTERMISSION
THE MELODY MONARCHS
These four boys put on a good act, three pianos, good character singer etc. F. S.
"A ROMANCE OF THE UNDERWORLD"
All the houses know this play, for it is a play, not an act, nor a sketch, and we join in all the commendatory reviews made upon it. F. S.
THE PHOTOPLANE
A very good review of current events depicted this week.
