REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW, WEEK DEC. 11, 1911---W.W. PROSSER. HEDDER & SON: Man and boy in a very good head and hand balancing act. The various tricks were well received, the number going moderately well throughout and finishing fairly strong. Conservatory in four, 7 minutes. (Act goes to Toledo) [LOMEY?] HASKELL: Monologuist. Made a good impression throughout and finished moderately strong. Street in one, 20 Minutes. (Act goes to Cleveland) ROBISON NEWBOLD AND MARIE GRIBBIN: Man and woman in songs and impersonations. Opened fairly well, improved as they went along, and worked out a good strong finish. Terrace in two, 20 minutes. (Act goes to Syracuse) HOMER MILES & CO: Three men and one woman in a dramatic number, "On A Side Street". An interesting little story very capably told. Undivided interest throughout and a good finish. Special in three, 17 minutes. (Act goes to Toledo) GEORGE AUSTIN MOORE and CORDELIA HAAGER: As good a singing and talking number as has played this house in many a day. Mr. Moore is as good as ever, and Miss Haager greatly improves the merit of the act. She made as big an individual hit as he, and, in fact was surprisingly clever. A genuine, spontaneous hit with bows galore. Easily the hit of the bill. Olio in one, 19 minutes. (Act goes to Detroit) THE VASSAR GIRLS: Ten in number in a very pretty, high-class instrumental and vocal offering. They went big throughout and finished strong. Special set in two, three and five. 21 minutes. (Act goes to Toledo) MARSHALL MONTGOMERY: Ventriloquist. A bona fida hit, going big all the way through. Plenty of applause and a strong finish. Olio in one, 17 min. (Act goes to Louisville) SALERNO: Juggler. The best of them all. He held attention throughout, scoring a strong finish. Palace in five, 12 minutes. (Act goes to Indianapolis) MOVING PICTURE: "GOVERNORS' SPECIAL". O.K.
