15 R. F. KEITH'S THEATRE,CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of Nov. 23rd, 1913. John F. Royal. SID BAXTER 8 min. Garden. Man and woman in slack wire act. Man works on the wire - woman graces the stage. Baxter works fast on the wire, but has nothing exceptionally new. The act makes a good opener. INDIANAPOLIS. HALLEY AND NOBLE 18 min. in One. Olio. Man and woman in singing, talking and dancing act. Their material is old, but the man's "mugging" gets what comedy there is in the act. This act is not sufficient class for this audience. Went over f air. DETROIT. FREDERICK V. BOWERS & CO. 17 min. Open in One, go to F. S., close in One. Special scenery. Man and woman, two piccaninnies and a dog in a lively, clever singing and dancing novelty. Mr. Bowers is one of the best singing comedians we have heard here, and he has arranged an act full of action, and on that keeps the audience keyed up from beginning to end. One of the piccaninnies is a wonderful dancer, and Mr. Bowers puts his songs over in great style. All in all it proved a big hit here. Strong closing. NEW YORK. GLIDING O'MEARAS 9 min. in F. S. Palace. Man and woman in a refined artistic and clever series of society dances. Our audience was just ripe for an act of this kind and consequently it went over big. MEMPHIS. CAMERON AND O'CONNOR 16 min. in One. Two well known men in their act now here "Hired and Fired". This act is very clever with some genuine comedy and real merit. It was moved from next to closing position in order to make it easier for Mr. Thompson, who found it difficult to get started after the big noise of Milt Collins who preceeding him at the opening show. Cameron & O'Connor went over big. INDIANAPOLIS. WM. H. THOMPSON 18 min. F. S. Kitchen Interior. Two men and a woman in a clever dramatic playlet entitled "Pride of the Regiment". Mr. Thompson received a reception, and in this sketch shows that he is still an artist. He held the interest throughout, and the act received a very strong closing. NEW YORK. MILT COLLINS 15 min. in One. Street. Apolitical monologist. Mr.Collins is an extremely clever young man, with a lot of good material and a thorough knowledge of how to put it over, but he has some "gag" that should be thoroughly sand-papered, as it is a bit rough. He has them laughing all the way and was a great hit. LOUISVILLE. CARL ENGENE TROUPE 7 min. F. S. Nine artists in a sensational acrobatic exhibition. Greatest act of its kind ever seen here. A real thriller and a great closing act for this show. IND IANAPOLIS. CUTS Milt Collins Gag about Roosevelt being a Nut. Story about "Dam". Story about expecting children. Story about wives goings on strike.
