BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW NOVEMBER 24, 1913. SAM BARTON. Comedy cyclist, 10 minutes full stage. Went big. GOOD ACT. SMITH & FARMER. Comedy singing and talking. 13 minutes in (1). Went Big. GOOD ACT. THE METROPOLITAN MINSTRELS. Five girls, two boys, 22 minutes. Open in (1) close in (2). Regarding which act will say it went good, but two of the principal numbers have been used here within the past six weeks by Ray Dooley of the Three Somersets and was also seen at Lake Nipmuc last summer which is the nearest park to Woonsocket, and this in my estimation, would tend to hurt the act as a feature offering. Personally I think the rendering of these two songs "I'm Afraid of the Big Moon," and "Your Awful Hard To Get Along With" is ever better in the new people than it was by Ray Dooley. [W.E. Parmenter?] MANAGER. Have reported to Mr. Woods regarding Smith & Farmer walking off stage. with which the various changes are made is most startling and the delineation of the various characters is so cleverly handled that it is difficult to realize, at times, that the piece is played by but two players. Went big. GOOD ACT. [W.E. Parmenter?] MANAGER.
