B.F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Anniversary Bill. Week of Nov. 30, 1913. John F. Royal. THE BLESSINGS 10 min. F.S. Palace. Man and woman in exceptionally clever hand and head balancing act, in which the woman is the understander. This is a good feature and opened the show well. LOUISVILLE. GUERRO & CARMEN 17 min in One. Olio. Man and woman in harp and violin act. This is a very classy and artistic treat and it was really a shame to leave it in this spot. The man is one of the best violinists in vaudeville, because he is technically a good musician and not a faker. Mlle. Carmen is a wonderful harpist, and they offer a program that should get them by at a later spot on any vaudeville bill in the country. Such acts as this would be welcome here at any time. Despite their early spot they were tremendous hits. OPEN HALE NORCROSS & CO. 19 min. F.S. Kitchen. Two men and a woman in a comedy sketch entitled "Love in the Suburbs". This is a good comedy act with plenty of laughs and amusing situations. Held the interest all the way and closed strong. OPEN CLARA INGE 13 min. in One. Olio. Pretty girl in a character singing act. while this act is not bad, it is nevertheless the weakest spot on the bill. She does not show up well in contrast with Belle Baker, who appears later on the bill. Miss Inge got by fair and her closing was passable. LORRAINE AND DUDLEY 18 min. F.S. Special. Three women and a man in an amusing and entertaining comedy entitled "The Finish", The lady doing a protean comedy stunt is very good and her change from a Swedish scrubwoman to the beautiful wife of the lawyer gets her a big hand. It is a good sketch all the way and closed strong. LOUISVILLE. CHIEF CAUPOLICAN 15 min. in One. Street. Indian barytone. this is a picturesque vocal act. Caupolican has a good voice and a good line of talk. All his numbers went big and he closed very strong. INDIANAPOLIS. BALLET CLASSIQUE 17 in in F.S. Garden. Two principals, with six girls in a most artistic ballet act. They have a good program, including the famous swan dance of Madam Pavlowa. Naturally this act has created some interest, as Mlle. Marini was understudy to Pavlowa and Pavlowa is in Cincinnati this week. MILWAUKEE SHERMAN, VAN & HYMAN 10 min. in One. Olio. Three boys, two singing and one working at piano. Tremendous hit. PHILADELPHIA. MYRTLE OR "WRONG FROM THE START" 34 min. F.S. Special. this is a big act of the burlesque melodrama type and is after the fashion of "More Sinned Against Than Usual", but it lacks the punch and comedy of that act. While it went well here, it did'nt go as strong as it should. The lines have not be burlesqued enough in any characters, except the villian. The big comedy feature is the one man orchestra manager and general theatrical Poohbah, who has a position in the hay loft over the stage. This man could work up his orchestra effect throughout the sketch and get more laughs than he does. The act was interesting and got some big laughs, but the closing was not as strong as it should have been. PITTSBURG. BELLE BAKER [18?] MIN. in One. Olio. Despite the fact that there was another single woman on the bill before her and using one of her songs, she went over big in this spot, all her songs going strong and closing to a tremendous finish. INDIANAPOLIS. KITAMURA JAPS 11 min. F.S. Magnificent Special drop. This act is probably one of the most pretentious Oriental acts seen here and makes a big flash. The Japs work well and produce some good comedy. Held them in in good shape. BUFFALO. LOCAL PICTURES Still interesting. CUTS Lorraine & Dudley "Hell".
