B.F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of Dec. 7th, 1912. John [F.?] Royal. TUSCANO BROS. 6 min. F.S. Palace. Mediocre opening act. Two men juggling battle-axes. A great deal of sameness to their work, and their closing trick is the only real thriller. WM. SISTO 12 min. in One. Street. Italian monologist in a talking and mouth organ act. His political address is very dry and lacks real class. He gets a few laughs out of it however, and it is his mouth organ playing that gets him by. this act does not get over any too well. Only a fair closing. "THE HOUSEWARMERS" 31 min. F.S. Special. Johnny Dooley and Yvette Rugel, with eight people, in a musical comedy act that has great possibilities, but which, at present, is not very artistic. All of the voices in this act are excellent, but, with the exception of the two principals, they have no idea of stage deportment. Dooley is a very clever comedian and gets over in big style, also Miss Rugel. They are really the whole act. There is a "Fairy" character in this act, which, like a lot of similar characters in other acts, should be eliminated. The numbers go well, and the act gets a big finish. ISMED 13 min. in One. Olio. Turkish pianist. this young man works full stage with a special drop, but, for the convenience of the running order of the show, he worked in One. He played three selections and an encore and went over in good shape. Ismed is not so much of a great artist as he is a good showman, and as this is what counts, his act can be called a success. REX'S CIRCUS 15 min. F.S. Land. This act, which was originally scheduled to close the show, was moved to this position, because of the comedy in it. The comedy was very necessary on this bill. It livened up this part of the show in good shape, with "Dynamite", the un-ridable mule. Plenty of big laughs. RYAN AND LEE 16 min. in One. Olio. Man and woman in singing, talking and dancing act. This is one of the cleverest two acts seen here for some time, and it went over very big. The young lady in this act is very funny, and they work together. Plenty of life, good material, and they secure great laughs throughout their act. Close very strong. EDWIN STEVENS AND TINE MARSHALL 23 min. F.S. C.D.F. Man and woman in a comedy sketch with a little singing. Mr. Stevens is the whole act. His work is very artistic and he received a reception on his entrance. His act interested throughout, but the closing was not very strong. Nevertheless he pleased. THOSE THREE SINGERS 15 min. in One. Olio. Three men, well dressed, in a straight singing act. this act was too long for the show and it was cut six minutes. Had too much solo work before they get to the trios, which please the most here. The barytone in this act is splendid, but the tenor is weak. As a whole, the singing in the act was good, but the comedy that they endeavored to introduce, did not cause any great stir. THE UESSEMS 24 min. F.S. Palce. Big German acrobatic production that is a remarkable feature. Though in this rather disagreeable spot, they held the people in in good shape, and went over very big. LOCAL MOTION PICTURES Introducing Martin Carrol, society tangoist giving tango lessons via the movies. This film proved very interesting. CUTS Wm. Sisto - "Damn". Calling Ex-President Taft a thief Housewarmers - Story about "I'm way ahead of you regarding September Morn. Monkey story from Those Three Singers.
