44 Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of December 15, 1913. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The bill this week is quite satisfactory; some of the acts are not particularly brilliant, but as a whole, I think the show will please. LIBBY Comedy trick bicyclist; only a fair act. 10 min. F.S. DOROTHY KENTON Banjo playing, singing and dancing; rather tame little affair, that manages to get by. 10 Min. in One. LES GOUGETS Various kinds of cornet playing and performances on a big horn. A little of a novelty; would be all right in an opening spot, but hardly good enough for No. 3. 12 Min. F. S. Could do a short close in One. BOWMAN BROS. At this point, the show started. This is a very good act indeed. Had the audience laughing and showing a desire to want more of their work. 17 Min. in One. Paul MORTON & Naomi GLASS Same act we had last season with a few little new touches Went very strong; in fact, could be put down as a hit. 16 Min. ion One. PERCY WARAM & CO. In a pretty good comedy skit, "The Bosun's Mate." Very funny in spots, drags a little in other places. 20 Min. F. S. JOHN & MAE BURKE Well-known act which savors considerably of the burlesque houses, but nevertheless went very strong with the audience. 18 Min. Open and close in One. MARIA LO TROUPE Dresden China living pictures. A very pretty act, which would be better if they worked it a little faster; waits between pictures seem quite long and the audience was somewhat restless. It would be better played about two pegs higher; nevertheless, an attractive act. 13 Min. F. S. SAM & KITTY MORTON These folks made their usual great big hit and when Paul and Naomi Glass ca,e on at the finish and did a little of the old act, it was nothing short of a riot. 18 Min. in One. THE DE LESSO TROUPE Casting act; the best of its kind I ever saw. 8 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O.K.
