B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of February 1st, 1914. John F. Royal. HANLON AND CLIFTON 8 min. F.S. C.D.F. Greatest opening act ever seen in this house. An athletic surprise. The opening is an artistic one, with the boys at the piano and their giving every appearance that the audience were to see a sketch. Then they go into a routine a very remarkable hand balancing, and later close in a very novel manner. Their finish is very strong and the act could easily have gone down on the bill. LOUISVILLE. LIBONITI 16 min. in One. Wonderful xylophone player, who scored a tremendous hit. His program was a good one, and he has just enough eccentric personality to get his stuff over in good shape. Closed very strong. LOUISVILLE. HILDA THOMAS AND LOU HALL 24 min. F.S. C.D.F. 3 min. Close in One. Comedy sketch entitled "The Rube". On this fast moving bill, this sketch proved the slowest of any act on the program. Nevertheless it derived a great deal of comedy and Mr. Hall at the piano with his rube impersonation was very entertaining. Miss Thomas does very little, but is good foil for Hall. There is some good material in the act, and it went over in fair shape. CLEVELAND SAHARET 11 min. F.S. Land. Saharet is assisted by Senor Florido. Impossible to see where this woman is capable of being a headliner. There are three acts on the bill that easily surpass her for headline honors. As a dancer she is not to be compared with some dancers we have had here this season. With the exception of the solo dance of her partner, her numbers got little or no applause, except the closing "Tango" dance. She went just fair. INDIANAPOLIS PAUL MORTON AND NAOMI GLASS 15 min. in One. Special. This act repeated its success of last visit near the close of the past season. Went very strong. CHICAGO. VALERIE BERGERE AND COMPANY 23 min. F.S. Special. Two women and two men in a very clever comedy dramatic sketch. Miss Bergere is still the inimitable personality that has made her a popular favorite in this city. She received a reception on her appearance and the act went over very big. Miss Bergere received an ovation at her curtain calls. MILWAUKEE SOPHIE TUCKER 20 min. in One. A riot. Repeated her success of previous visit this season. Sang nine songs. LOUISVILLE. WILLIAM J. DOOLEY AND COMPANY 30 min. F.S. Eleven people in a musical comedy revue entitled "The Lawn Party" Mr. Dooley as the sheriff is a very funny juvenile performer and has the audience laughing all the way. The act proved a good closing. Bright and lively all the way and went strong. CINCINNATI MOTION PICTURES Fairly interesting. NOTE Saharet did not appear at either performance on Sunday because the Big Four Railroad, which has a habit of losing trunks on Sunday, did not bring her costume trunk to this city from Cleveland. As the newspapers remarked, her appearance was not missed a great deal because of the good quality of the rest of the show. CUTS Nightriders and subsequent material about visitors at night from Lou Hall of Thomas and Hall. "Chicken" by Dooley in "The Lawn Party". Easy Rider Song from Sophie Tucker.
