B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - MASS. Week of March [18th?] 1914. (Robert G. Larsen) [VALVENO and LANORE?] 7 minutes in two. Garden. knockabout comedy acrobats. An excellent opening act. MARCONI BROTHERS. 9 minutes in one. Olio Drop. these two boys have dressed the act in dress white suits a combination that is by no means as attractive and showman-like as their old costumes of white blouses and knickerbockers. ANITA DIAZ'S MONKEYS. 14 minutes f.s. Special cyclorama. Since last appearing here, Miss Diaz has added a beautiful green plush cyclorama with stage draperies to match. She has a very pleasing personality and gets considerable comedy out of the work by the monks. A very good animal act. Went over first-rate. BERTIE HERRON and BONNIE GAYLORD. 18 minutes f. s. Short opening in one. Street and special set. Doing the same act that Cameron & Flanagan presented for years, with a new twist in the way of stage setting. By no means to be compared with the old Cameron & Flanagan or Flanagan & Edward's acts. Went fairly well in this position. JANE WARD and BILLIE CULLEN 15 minutes in one. These people have improved fully one hundred per cent since their last appearance here. Have some original songs, and pulled down the first real applause hit of the show. FRANCIS Mc GINN and CO "The Cop" 21 minutes f. s. Dark Tapestry. One of the best sketches that hast played the house this season. Rapt attention all the way through, many laughs, and every big hand at the finish. CHARLES and FANNY VAN. 16 minutes in one. Street. "From Stage Carpenter to Ackter." Scored one of the strong comedy hits of show. ANNA HELD. 23 minutes f. s. Music room. Miss Held sang five songs, with a change of costume for each. Her gowns are all marvels of beauty and costliness. A series of Kinemacolor views of Miss Held are shown while she is making her changes. Her songs were applauded, but she was by no means a riot. WILSON BROTHERS. 17 minutes in one. Street. The same act they have given us on previous visits. Notwithstanding they followed Miss Held, scored one of the biggest hits of the bill. DE VOIE TRIO. 8 minutes f. s. Special black cyclorama. A beautiful act on the roman rings that made a splendid closing feature.
