B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - MASSACHUSETTS Week of March 23rd 1914 (Robert G. Larsen) 20th Anniversary of Opening of Theatre LA BELARICA DUO 9 minutes f. s. Palace. Man and woman doing four dances with change of costume for each. Introduce Spanish dance together, French dance by woman, Hungarian dance by man, and Argentine Tango in National costume by couple. Tango is exceptionally good. An excellent opener. CADETS DE GASCONGE 14 minutes in one. Garden. This wellknown operation quartette scored heavily in this position. SEYMOUR'S HAPPY FAMILY 19 minutes f.s . Special set. One of the very best trained dog acts we have ever played. The dogs perform on musical instruments, sing "Annie Laurie," and enact a melodrama. Has an element of novelty and some good comedy. Went over big. JIM TOONEY and ANN NORMAN 21 minutes in one. O. P. Drapery. These people have improved their act full one hundred percent since their last appearance in Boston. Their patter is bright and the eccentric dancing by the man went very big. Finished strong. JOE BOGANNY'S LUNATIC BAKERS. 7 minutes f. s. Special set. A fast comedy acrobatic act that kept the show moving right along at a high rate of speed. JOHN and MAE BURKE. 19 minutes. Open in one, Street, go to Music Room f. s., close in one Another big laughing hit. Burkes playing stopped the show. A tremendous hand at the finish. CLAUDE GILLINGWATER? EDITH LYLE and CO. "Wives of the Rich." 33 minutes f.s. Dark Tapestry C. D. F. A splendid dramatic sketch with just a touch of comedy that held the audience in breathless attention from rise to fall of the curtain. Very strong close. ELIZABETH MURRAY 16 minutes in one. Olio drop. Miss Murray's first vaudeville appearance in Boston in four years. Is singing Irish and negro dialect songs. Got a big reception and scored one of the biggest applause hits of the entire show. LASK'S "TRAINED NURSES" with CLARK and BERGMAN 28 minutes f. s. Special set. This wellknown musical comedy made a great closing feature for the Twentieth Anniversary Bill.
