B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of April 12th, 1914. John F. Royal. DE VOIE TRIO 6 min. F. S. three men in a flying ring act. For this form of exhibition, it proved a great opening act, all the tricks being well applauded. They closed well. PITTSBURG. ELECTRA VON DOLCKE 14 min. in One. Local society girl with a fair contralto voice, singing three songs. she gets over in fair shape and got us a lot of publicity. RAWLS AND VON KAUFMAN 19 min. F.S. Man and woman in talking act with Mr. Rawls in his well known black face character. A laughing hit all the way, but not much applause at the finish. The act was well liked and entertained throughout. Big laughs. MILWAUKEE. JOHNNY JOHNSTON 11 min. in One. Straight singing comedian, with one old song, one new one and his "Poet and Peasant" overture. He went very big and was one of the hits of the bill. CHICAGO. HARRY TATE'S MOTORING 19 min. in Two. Five men in an automobile satire. This act is very funny and was well liked, but much of their humor was over the heads of some of our patrons. Nevertheless, it went over good. LOUISVILLE. THE CABARET TRIO 18 min. in One. Three men, including a blind pianist, in a rathskeller act. This act pleased, but did not get over as strong as some other similar acts we have had here this season. Cannot be classed with Van and Schenck of last week. INDIANAPOLIS. THE PURPLE LADY 32 min. F.S. B.A. Rolfe's company, with Ralph Lynn, three other principals and a group of pretty girls, in a clever miniature musical comedy. This act was a big hit. Mr. Lynn scored heavily and the audience here liked it immensely. INDIANAPOLIS. CROSS AND JOSEPHINE 23 min. in One. Well known couple in act that went big. All the songs, with the exception of one, were new here, and their dancing proved delightful. All the numbers were well received and the act as a whole is one of the best we have had here this season. CHICAGO. SIX CATRILLIONS 10 min. F.S. Best group of athletes we have had here this year. Wonderful closing act, which held them in in good shape. OPEN. CINCINNATI IN MOTION. showing good Friday picture on the steps of Mt. Adams. Very interesting.
