B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of April 19th, 1914. John F. Royal. ROLANDO BROTHERS 7 min. in Two C.D.F. Two men in an excellent handbalancing act. Unable to use their special drop because of fireproofing. Proved a good opening act. INDIANAPOLIS. LEE AND CRANSTON 18 min. in One. Special drop. Man and woman in Irish singing act. Mr. Lee has a delightful tenor voice and Miss Cranston is very pretty, but not strong vocally. The act went over in good shape, and while our German patronage is not very strong for Irish music, they liked this act. LOUISVILLE. MARIE AND BILLY HART 20 min Open in One, F.S., close in One. Man and woman in a novel comedy act "The Circus Girl". This is one of the most original acts here this season, and proved very enjoyable. This unique form of entertainment held the interest throughout, and had them laughing all the way. The burlesque mind reading stunt was especially clever. Miss Hart is a very versatile performer and the act closed big. COLUMBUS. JOHN C. RICE AND SALLY COHEN 20 min. F.S. Well known couple in a comedy act which, while funny, is not as good as a number of their other sketches. Tells a story of a husband who bets his wife he can get ready for a train quicker than she can. He says he will not ask for her help, and the comedy comes in his search for various articles. The act worked up to some good laughs, but seemed to lack punch at the finish. It proved very entertaining, however, and the audience liked it. ROCHESTER BURKHART AND WHITE 13 min. in One. This is the third piano act of its kind in the last three weeks. Their program is all popular numbers, many of which have been sung here very recently. They went good, but would have gone better if we did not have so many acts of this nature so recently. Mr. Burkhart puts his songs over and the act closed big. EVANSVILLE. THE PORCH PARTY 23 min. F.S. This is a great act from the standpoint of our audience, and the flash at the opening made it a hit from the start. It is a finished and artistic production, and all the singing, musical and dancing numbers went big. As a whole, the act went over very strong. DETROIT. SWOR AND MACK 19 min. in One. This pair of black face comedians were a riot. They had the audience screaming with laughter, and the general remarks through the audience were that Mr. Mack was better than Bert Williams. Much of their comedy is new and they put it over in good shape. Applause hit of the bill. INDIANAPOLIS. NICK'S SKATING GIRLS 9 min. F.S. A picturesque closing act. Girls all skate well. Unable to use their special drop because of poor fireproofing. CLEVELAND. CINCINNATI IN MOTION Very interesting.
