BOSTON, MASS. B. F. KEITH'S January 15 7 FRANK and TOBIE 15 minutes open in one. Close fs. Special Set. Man and girl in a neat dancing act, with Candy Box surprise; Tommy Atkins; German doll dance; and Jockey dance. Good opener. McSHANE and HATHAWAY 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. About the best thing in this act is the girl's impersonation of Charlie Chaplin. The rest is commonplace. Passed away quietly. EDDIE CARR and CO in "The Office Boy" 20 minutes fs. C.D.F. Close in one. Olio Drop. The same act he gave us before. Got quite a number of laughs and closed well, but the sort of turn we would much rather see at the opposition houses than at Keith's. "OKLAHOMA BOB" ALBRIGHT 19 minutes in one. Rotunda Drop. Albright is a clever showman, and he puts over his songs and stories well. A good-sized hit. B. A. ROLFE'S "RUBEVILLE" with FELIX RUSH and JERE DELANEY 1 People. 29 minutes f.s. Special Set. This act was the hit of the show. They could have done another encore, had it not been that our show is running thirty minutes late, and every act was requested to cut. LLOYD and BRITT 16 minutes in one. Street. These boys were booked in to replace Marie Nordstrom. They had a pretty hard spot, especially as they are using the same music to dance by as Jere Delaney employs in the act ahead. Going fairly well. MELVILLE ELLIS and IRENE BORDONI 25 minutes f.s. Special cyclorama. Their stage setting is beautiful, after a Maxfield Parrish painting, and Miss Bordoni wore gowns. She sang three songs, interspersed with piano solos by Ellis. Went very big indeed. Ellis is doing a curtain speech that is rather well turned, and has some clever quips that brought laughs. BONITA and LEW HEARN 20 minutes in one and two. Street and Palace drops. This act is working under difficulties this week. Hearn is preceded by a "Rube" sheriff in "Rubeville," not to mention eight other rube comedians in the same act. Bonita does not appear nearly as "classy" in contrast with him, immediately following Irene Bordoni, as she would if placed otherwise. They are still doing the same old act. Considering these handicaps, they got away with it in this hard spot. JOE FANTON'S "GARDEN OF SURPRISES" 6 minutes f.s. Special Set. A good flash, and some tricks that are real thrillers. A good closing feature. MRS. VERNON CASTLE in "PATRIA" 30 minutes in one. Picture sheet. Dorothy Green, the vampire in this picture appeared in person Monday afternoon upon the stage. The picture was heavily advertised, and nearly all remained in to the finish. CUTS "Rubeville" - All cuts made at the Palace and Colonial, N.Y., before opening. Melville Ellis - All cuts made at the Palace and Colonial, N.Y., before opening. Frank and Tobie - young lady requested to wear tights. Eddie Carr - "My God," - "Bushwah" - "I hope to God" - "I haven't a thing to wear, you won't need anything, you'll be in the bathtub" with reference to motorcycle ride. Bob Albright - omit mention of house manager's name.
