BOSTON, Mass. B.F.KEITH'S JAN. 22 '17 7 MOSHER, HAYES and MOSHER 11 minutes f.s. Landscape. Wellknown three-man bicycle act. Acceptable opener, while offering nothing particularly new. Just a conventional bicycle turn. BOUDINI BROTHERS 13 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Accordeonists. These boys have a good program, with plenty of rag-time. Went over very well indeed. VICTOR MORLEY and CO in "A REGULAR ARMY MAN" 31 minutes f.s. Special Set. Twelve people. This is a good act. Looks big, and contains several musical numbers. All get over. Mr. Morley's comedy got plenty of laughs. The singing of the male chorus is featured. An excellent miniature musical comedy. EDWIN GEORGE 14 minutes in one. Olio Drop. This young man's "Comedy of Errors" was one of the hits of the show. Had them laughing every minute, and closed strong. DEFOREST and KEARNS 18 minutes in one. Rotunda Drop. A neat little comedy singing and dancing act, with a bit of travesty. Went over first-rate. KATHARINE DAHL and CHARLES GILLEN 15 minutes f.s. Special Drops. This is quite a pretentious offering with a change of scenery and costume for each song. Mr. Gillen plays two solos at the piano while Miss Dahl is making her changes. Went very well. MILO? 15 minutes in one. Plush drapery and carpet. Is doing the same act as on his previous visit, and putting over one of the hits of the show. FOUR MARX BROTHERS and COMPANY in "HOME AGAIN" 43 minutes f.s. Two special sets. 15 people. It has been some time since we played this act, brightened up with new songs and comedy bits. Introduces singing, dancing, harp and piano solos, and good rough comedy. Duplicated their previous hit, and made a satisfactory closing feature. MRS. VERNON CASTLE in "PATRIA" Second Episode. Held the audience very well. CUTS VICTOR MORLEY - omit business of thumbing nose. MILO? - omit line about "Charged with fragrancy - Judge said; 'Open the window'" Omit use of the filthy handkerchief. FOUR MARX BROTHERS - business of looking under lady's skirts by Roosevelt. All cuts made at Keith's, Providence, were taken out before opening. DEFOREST and KEARNS - omit effiminate business and walk by man.
