CHUCK HAAS--- And His Educated Ropes--Dressed as a Cow boy--Chuck keeps up a running line of talk while manipulating the ropes; 12 min. in one; went good. JEAN MOORE--- In Exclusive Songs--this girl is very neat in her dress, sings three songs and tells two stories--13 min. in olio; went good. KING & HARVEY--- Two men--piano and singing act; sang several catchy songs and closed with some nonsensical ditties which went over great--tremendous applaus; 15 min. olio. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 29, 30 and 31. WILLIAM ALTHOFF--- "The Sheriff of Hicksville"--this man takes the character of a Rube, telling droll stories, and finishing with violing playing which went over very good--14 min. in one EDMUNDS & LEADEM--- In "Going to the Wedding"--man and woman--variety skit with talking, singing and burlesque dancing--full of laughs all through and went over very big--20 min in one. HONG KONG MYSTERIES---with NEEK SUEN Three men and a woman; special stage settings and effects; slight of hand tricks-this act went over good. 12 min. full stage. [Signature: A. S. Watson]
