Boston, Mass. B.F.KEITH'S Jan. 29th 7 DUNEDIN DUO 13 minutes in one and f.s. Olio drop and Garden. Man and woman, in songs, dances, bicycle riding and wire work. Good opener. RENEE FLORIGNY 11 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Pianist. This woman plays three classical numbers, "Rigolett;" "lucia de Lammermoor," (left-hand arrangement); and "Minuet" by Paderewski. Got over first rate in this spot. BILLIE BURKE'S "MOTOR BOATING" 19 minutes in 3. Special Set. Close in one. Olio Drop. This turn introduces two men and two girls in comedy, songs, dances and travesty. A very funny act, and scored a decided hit. HARRY and EVA PUCK 18 minutes f.s. Open and close in one. Three special sets. Doing their new act, "Song Hit," and going very well indeed. BUFFORD and CHAIN 22 minutes in one. Street Drop and Picture Sheet. These boys have an entirely new act, with the exception of the negro preacher impersonation, now done in white-face. Have some material that is funny and decidedly original. Registered a solid laughing hit. "CREATION" 15 minutes f.s. Special Set. This act is entirely different from anything we have played in a long time. Held the interest and closed to a strong hand. A novelty. JOE TOWLE 20 minutes in one. Olio Drop. This chap walked away with the hit of the show. He worked in some of the earlier acts, sweeping up and moving pianos. A strong comedy turn, with clever piano playing. Closed very big. "THE GIRLIES' GAMBOL" with MARGARET IVING and FELIX ADLER 24 People. Special Set. 53 minutes f.s. About the most pretentious and attractive girl act we have played this season. Four girls "jumped" the act in New York Saturday night. Still, they got over, and Felix Adler's comedy, Hazel Moran's roping, and the skating dance of DeMar and Swan, all scored. Held the audience seated to the finish, and closed to a good hand. A thoroughly satisfactory headline feature. MRS. VERNON CASTLE in Third Episode of "Patria." 21 minutes Picture Sheet. About one-third of the house walked out, the remainder staid in to see the serial. Is more exciting than last week's instalment, and pleased. CUTS Bufford and Chain - Change line "To Hell with our wifes" to "This is the life" in opening parody. All cuts made in New York houses were taken out of "The Girlies' Gambol" and Joe Towle before opening Monday matinee.
