REPORT on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of January 29, 1917. CHARLES LOVENBERG, Manager. This is one of the best shows we ever played. Everything in it made good from start to finish and I look for a splendid week's business. As all the acts did so well and they are so well known, detailed descriptions will not be necessary in my case. Frank & Tobie Very good dancing act - with changes of costumes and special unique drops - which could have held a little better position with ease. 14 Minutes Short Opening In One, closes Full Stage. De Forrest & Kearns Usual youthful fellow and girl act with a few diff different twists that went very well. 17 Minutes In One. Edwin George Comedy juggler. 16 Minutes In One. Melody Six (all ladies) A splendid instrumental and singing act. Instruments include three violins, cello, piano and double bass. The bass player also sings excellently. 17 Minutes Full Stage Laurie & Bronson This was THE big hit of the show. 21 Minutes In One The World Dancers Beautiful, big flashy act that went over great. 30 Minutes Full Stage. Milo? As usual 15 Minutes In One. Sports In The Alps Some of the greatest trampelin work I ever saw. Held the audience intact. 8 Minutes Full Stage. Motion Pictures O. K. CUTS Frank & Tobie Have lady cut rubbing back in doll dance.
