REPORT ON KEITH'S PROVIDENCE SHOW FOR WEEK OF FEBRUARY 19, 1917. We have a very good bill, indeed, this week. One with plenty of class --lots of merit and comedy. With the holiday time, in spite of it being the first week in Lent, I look for a big week's business. Nolan & Nolan Man given a little assistance by woman in a comedy juggling act. This is a corking good feature that could hold any spot on the bill. I consider this man in class with W. C. Fields, whom he somewhat reminds one of. His comedy is possibly not as good as Fields. His juggling is better. 15 Minutes Open In Two Short Close In One. Eadie & Ramsden This is a novelty act. Comedy, singing, dancing, and some eccentric leg work by the man. As there has been some confusion as to the kind of an act these people do, the thought being in the minds of some of the managers that it is an acrobatic act, I want to say that there is practically no acrobatics in it. The man's leg work smacks a little of contortion. Otherwise it is all as described above--a variety sketch. 12 Minutes Open in Full Stage Can Close In One. Very good Act. Florrie Millership A very clever and attractive young girl with a good line of material. 13 Minutes In One. Creation A very beautiful scenic, electrical novelty well introduced and very interesting. 15 Minutes Full Stage. Will Morissey Assisted by Freddie Clinton. About as good a two-man act as we have played in a long time. I want to say that with the exception of one joke which was not very bad, Morrissey gave us an absolutely clean act and he made the biggest kind of a hit. 22 Minutes In one. Moon & Morris Two men. A very unusual dancing act interspersed with a little comedy. The comedy does not amount to much but the dancing was a decided hit. 13 Minutes Open Full Stage Long Close In One. Grace LaRue Decidedly the best artist in her line that we ever played. At Monday night's performance Miss LaRue held the stage a full half hour without tiring the audience. The 16 year old boy at the piano is also a decided asset in the act. IN One Bert Baker & Co. In a farcical sketch called "Prevarication". One big laugh from start to finish. 25 Minutes Full Stage. CUTS Will Morrissey Cut referring to the ladies of the company were off stage in a different make-up. "Nothing but the truth."
