REPORT ON SHOW AT KEITH'S THEATRE, PROVIDENCE for Week of Feb. 26/17 We have a bill this week which evidently pleased the audiences greatly. CATHERINE POWELL Miss Powell does several dances with changes of costume for each and special scenery. She does some very good work--is attractive and vivacious and made quite a hit in this position. 11 Minutes. Full Stage. KIMBERLY & ARNOLD Man and woman; Singing and talking act with a number of bright lines; that did very well in this spot and could hold a slightly better position. 17 Minutes In One. VACUUM CLEANERS These people get quite a few laughs, but there is an awful lot of old stuff in the act and it is decidedly cheap in its whole make-up. There is very little in it that applies to vacuum cleaning. They haven't realized the possibilities from that source at all. 16 Minutes Full Stage. NAINO Hawaiian guitarist. One of the big hits of the show. 14 Minutes In One. EVA TAYLOR & CO In "Rocking the Boat". Pretty good sketch that secures lots of laughs. 20 Minutes Full Stage. GRACE DEMAR Monologue comedienne. Miss DeMar did very nicely. 20 Minutes In One. Four ENTERTAINERS Pretty good singing in its class marred by some very bad comedy of one of the men. They all appear in white face. 16 Minutes In One. THE 3 ALEX Excellent gymnastics and iron jaw work. 9 Minutes Full Stage. Motion Pictures O. K. CUTS GRACE DEMAR Cut reference to union suit. Cut joke about turning herself upside down. Cut joke about Fairy soap. CLARK & HAMILTON Cut word "Wop" Don't have the lady lift her dress so high and cut reference to same and all the business that goes with it.
