Boston, Mass. B. F. Keith's Feb. 26th 7 THREE JORDAN GIRLS 9 minutes fs. Open in one. Garden set and Olio drop. Wire walkers, with a song and dance opening. Pretty girls, and have some good tricks. An excellent opener. MUSICAL JOHNSTONS 14 minutes in one. Olio drop. This well known xylophone act went over first-rate in this position. EMMET J. WELCH'S MINSTRELS 23 minutes f.s. Special set. A very good act. The plush setting, with nine men in flashy costumes, makes an impressive stage picture, and the singing, dancing and comedy went over strong. MARIE STODDARD 13 minutes in one. O.P. Drpaery. Miss Stoddard scored a solid hit at both shows Monday. She is clever, has personality, and does a good act. WILLIAM CAXTON and CO in "KISSES" 25 minutes f.s. Special set. About as novel a comedy as we have played in a long time. Extremely well written and played. Held the interest every minute. Closed strong. JOHNNY DOOLEY and YVETTE RUGEL 24 minutes in one and two. Garden and palace drops. This team put over the applause hit of the show. Have some new material, and Dooley's burlesque on Ruth St. Denis was a riot. Monday night, the applause continued after we started to show Houdini's picture film. HOUDINI 30 minutes f.s. Garden set. Doing the needle trick and water torture cell. Putting them over in good shape. Wednesday noon, he performed his strait jacket stunt, suspended in midair from the top of the theatre entrance, before a crowd of 50,000 people, who completely filled the Tremont street mall of Boston Common, facing the theatre. Has some other challenges lined up for the balance of the week. ERNEST R. BALL 13 minutes in one. O.P. Drpaery. Mr. Ball had a hard spot, but held it with credit. Closed strong with a medley of popular song compositions, written by him. SEVENTH EPISODE of "PATRIA" with MRS. VERNON CASTLE 23 minutes in one. An interesting installment with real thrills. Still holding three-quarters of the house in to the finish. CUTS Johnny Dooley - business of falling against drop.
