Report On Keith's Providence Theatre for Week of March 5, 1917. The bill this week is very satisfactory. Almost everything scoring particularly well. Page, Mack & Mack Two men and one woman in an exceptional hand balancing act with some startling feats and a little suggestion of comedy. Made a big hit on this, their second appearance here, although they opened the show. 10 Minutes Full Stage. May Elinore & Violet Carleton This act has played practically everywhere and received quite good reports. In this house yesterday, they failed absolutely. 16 Minutes In One. Harold Dukane & Co Man and two attractive girls in a beautifully dressed and unusual scenic presentation of a dancing act. While the dancing is not particularly good, the act goes very well indeed, because of its method of offering. 15 Minutes Full Stage. Rae Elinore Ball Violinist who scored her usual big hit. 15 Minutes In One. Jessie Busley & Co. In "Pansy's Particular Punch"---the sketch formerly played by Florence Nash. A good sketch, very well played. 20 Minutes Full Stage. Ernest Ball Usual well-known signing act Made his usual big hit. 13 Minutes Bennet & Richards Black face comedians with a surprise opening and eccentric dancing of a unique kind by one of the men. These two features got the act over in first-class shape. 17 Minutes. Open Full Stage. 3 Minutes Close In One. 14 Minutes. Houdini Presenting the same act he did last season. A report on Mr. Houdini would not be fair to him or us until the end of the week, the box office being the only criterion. 25 Minutes Full Stage. Motion Pictures O. K. CUTS Jessie Busley "My God." Elinore & Carleton Cut joke about the place for the Ford cars being in the sewer. Harold Dukane & Co. Cut lady flipping back of skirt in skating dance.
