Boston, Mass. B. F. Keith's March 12th 7 NOLAN and NOLAN 12 minutes in two. Palace drop. Man and woman jugglers. Rather neat little act. Acceptable opener. [DONNER?] and POWERS 13 minutes in one. Olio. This act was brought in to replace Brierre & King, who disappointed on account of illness. Opens up slow with comedy talk, but the singing and dancing took them off to a good hand. All right in this spot. IMPERIAL CHINESE DUO 18 minutes in two. Special set. Two Chinamen, a pianist and a singer. Act is beautifully staged with two changes of costume. One of the bright spots in the show. A hit. JAMES C. MORTON and MAMIE DIAMOND 18 minutes f.s. Palace set. Doing about the same line of stuff as Morton and Moore, and getting away with it in good shape. Morton's tumbling and dancing woke things up, and he got the laughs. JAMES B. CARSON and "THE MODELS ABROAD" 24 minutes f.s. Three special scenes. A sequel to "The Red Heads." Built along similar lines, it suffers by comparison. Carson has good material, and he got the laughs Monday night. Act gathered strength as it went along, and closed strong. ANDREW MACK 24 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Mr. Mack was a hit. Got a reception at both performances, and put his stuff over. Is telling some excellent Irish and Hebrew stories. In fact, the comedy end of his act outweighs the singing. Closed with the "Mister Moon" song and dance. Was obliged to respond to an encore. BENNETT and RICHARDS in "[illegible]" 15 minutes. Open f.s. Close in one. C.D.F. and olio. The comedy novelty of the year. The audience laughed for nearly two minutes when the lights went up at the end of the dark scene. The dancing and comedy in one were a riot. Closed big. SPORTS IN THE ALPS 8 minutes f.s. Special set. Some wonderful acrobatics in a spectacular stage setting. The somersaults, three and four high, brought gasps from the audience. A splendid closing act. "PATRIA" - Episode Nine. Still holding the interest. Cuts Andrew Mack - word "Hell" James B. Carson - all cuts made at Palace, N. Y., were taken out before opening. Bennett & Richards - play upon word "Hell" and kick behind. PROGRAM REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWT. R.I. MARCH 12 1917. Al Tucker Works in one 10 Min. Eccentric Violinist. Straight and trick Violin Playing. Went Good. Seven Little Darlings Girls from five to twelve years old. Work in Center Door Fancy 25 Min. Songs dances immatations comedy talk. All very Clever. HIT. Tom & Stacia Moore Man and woman in one 15 Min. Comedy Skit "My Dream Girls" with some beautiful changes of gowns by woman. Went Big. Van & Belle Flying Missile Experts work in special set. 20 Min.
