Report on Keith's Providence Show for Week of March 19, 1917. We have a pretty good show this week that ought to see us out alright in a financial way. Reddington & Grant Comedy bounding net act with special scenery. Makes a fair opening number. 9 Minutes Full Stage. Miller & Vincent Neat little singing act with a little talking. Presented with special scenery. I booked this act with their agent with the understanding that it was all in one. I hope none of the other managers will make the same error. It is practically a full stage act. The drop hangs in two and is set with furniture and backings which brings it back to three. 13 Minutes. Rath Brothers The best hand balancing act we ever played. 5 Minutes Full Stage. Spencer & Williams Man and woman in a good comedy act. 19 Minutes in One. James Carson & Co. in the "Models Abroad". Very high grade presentation--good music--wonderful voices--good company--good comedy by Mr. Carson--all in all one of the very best acts we ever played. 42 Minutes Full Stage. Scarpioff & Varvara Singing and piano. Very good indeed. 15 minutes in one. John B. Hymer & Co. in "Tom Walker in Dixie". Splendid comedy act with Mr. Hymer whining to his very best advantage. Held the audiences intact closing the show. Plenty of laughs all through with strong applause at the finish. Full Stage. Open 15 minutes in one and goes to full stage and closes 5 minutes in one. Could be worked in the middle of a bill as an act in one. CUTS Reddington & Grant "It sounds like L" Spencer & Williams Cut "Son of a gun". John B. Hymer Cut the word "God" when used in a profane way.
