BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 26, 27 and 28. SVENGALI--- "The World's Greatest Dog, Mathematician and Mind Reader" Worked by a man; the dog works rather slow which makes it rather long drawn out, but the act went over good. 23 min. C. D. F. WILLIAM TRAINOR & COMPANY--- IN "High Life in Jail"--three men; singing and talking; special drop of a prison scene; 18 min. in two; went good. COOPER & RICARDO--- In a comedy singing skit, entitled "Ah, Gimme the Ring" man and woman; songs, music and mostly comedy; the girl's comedy part went big; 17 min. in one. whole act went good. [Signature: A. S. Watson] Report on show playing the Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R.I. April 26, 1917. Jack & Jessie Gibson man and woman in full stage 10 Min. This is a very good unicycle offering which pleased the best of any act on the bill. Went Well. John W. Ranson Monologuist with a patriotic recitation for a finish which gets him over. 17 Min. In One. Went fairly well. Kelso & Leighton Comedy offering of nonsense in full stage 18 Min. Singing and a little piano playing. Got laughs but nothing at finish. Werner & Amoros Trio. Three men one makes up as woman and one does an impersanation of Chaplin. A poorly arranged offering of juggling music and singing. Act did not go and was not liked. Persanally think them very versatile. Show not up to standard.
