DAVE MANLEY--- "The Politician"--his monologue was very funny throughout and created lots of laughter and applause; then he got serious and rendered a beautiful recitation which went over with tremendous applause--a great hit with the audience. 16 min. in one. WALTER SHANNON, MARIE ANNIS & COMPANY--- In "The Garden of Love"--one woman and four men; musical comedy act; dressed in oriental costumes; carry their own stage setting, which was a scene of the far East and showed to good advantage. 27 min. A lot of comedy with singing which goes over very nice. Went Very Good.
