PHILADELPHIA B.F.KEITH'S MAY 7, 7 PATHE. 12 min. Fairly good lot of pictures. THE BRIGHTONS. 9 min. Artistic ragpickers. A man and woman who construct pictures of animals and scenes from bits of rags. An interesting novelty and did very well as an opener. J. WARREN KEANE & GRACE WHITE. 16 min. The man is doing his old routine of sleight-of-hand tricks and handles it as well as ever. The woman introduced several piano numbers during the act and assists him in one or two tricks. Act went fairly well, finishing to a liberal hand. COLE, RUSSELL & DAVIS. 14 min. "Waiters Wanted." Two men and a woman in a comedy talking skit with a singing finish. A lot of their comedy material is of the worn kind, but they handle it well and got a liberal amount of laughs, finishing to a fairly good hand. MME. DOREE'S CELEBRITIES. 24 min. This new operatic offering by Mme. Doree furnishes a more novel production for vaudeville than any of her previous efforts. She has gathered a number of excellent voices and has selected a pleasing program of numbers from favorite operas. The singers in makeup representing the most famous operatic stars of the world are introduced by Mme. Doree in a neat speech. The act was a big applause winner and was forced to respond with several bows following the rendition of an American ballad. FORRIE MILLERSHIP. 12 min. In the character of "Little Miss Dainty," this girl sang four new songs. Each was well received and she finished with a varied bit of dancing that earned her a big hand of applause. She wears several attractive costumes and the act made a very good impression. KALMAR & BROWN. 23 min. In "Nursery Land." A very pretty novelty which repeated the big hit it made here on its first showing last season. The various characters of Old Mother Goose tales are introduced in a series of picturesque songs and dances appropriately costumed. The act was a big applause winner. STAN STANLEY TRIO. 23 min. Same act they have been doing for the last couple of seasons with a few changes in the routine of comedy worked from the audience. The act got its usual amount of laughs and the trampoline tricks of the comedian gives it a strong finish. FIVE NELSONS. Five young men in a routine of hoop rolling and juggling and diabolo spinning. Have a good variety of tricks, work with plenty of speed and did well in the closing position. GENERAL REMARKS. This bill has plenty of variety to it and without any big name feature, furnished satisfactory entertainment from start to finish.
