BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 18, 19 and 20. MARCH'S MUSICAL MERRY MAKERS--"The Broken Idol"--The scene is laid in the famous Chinatown of Los Angeles; the costumes and electrical effects are very fine; singing, dancing, etc. I was rather disappointed at the attendance this afternoon, thought we should have had a larger attendance ($96.00) this seemed small for such a show--but to-night was quite different crowded house-everyone seems to like the show and as they passed out quite a number told me that if this show don't bring them nothing will; so I look for a big week. [Signature: A S Watson] Report on show playing the Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R.I. June 18, 1917. Three Weber Girls Open in one with song and dance then to full stage with acrobatic work A very fine offering. 8 Min. Went Good. Mahoney & Rogers Man and woman in one special set. Seashore scene special. Comedy talk and dancing. This act is breaking in a new act. Went Fair. Henry Frey Monologue works in one 14 Min. Good line of stories and paradies. Went Big. The Cabaret De Lux A Fair act presented by seven people Five member form the jass Band while two girls dance. Went Poor. 15 Min. Full Stage Special.
