Boston, Mass. B. F. Keith's July 9th 7 HEARST-PATHE NEWS PICTORIAL 13 minutes. some good news pictures, including duplicates of the film of Gen. Pershing's arrival in France, shown by the Universal at this theatre all last week. HUGHES MUSICAL TRIO 13 minutes in two. Palace set. Two men and one woman, playing cornets, banjos, piano, violin, and saxaphones. Just a fair musical act to open a show. BISSETT and BESTRY 12 minutes in one. Garden drop. Two man dancing act with a little singing something after the style of Dolye and Dixon. The dancing is good. All right in this spot. JOSEPH R. BERNARD and CO in "WHO IS [SHE?]?" 22 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Second visit here of this act and going over in great shape. A. ROBINS 8 minutes in one. Street drop. One of the comedy hits of the show. FIVE MARYLAND SINGERS 15 minutes f.s. Special sets. Second appearance here and going very well. DICKINSON and DEAGON 25 minutes in one. Olio drop. A corking man and woman comedy act with a little singing and a piano. They ran Nat Wills a close race for the laughing honors of the show. SARA and NELLIE KOUNS 13 minutes f.s. Music room. High-class singing act, with a male accompanist, after the style of the Ponzillo Sisters. Went about as big as any turn of this type that we have played in a long time. NAT M. WILLS 27 minutes in one. Street drop. This is Wills' second appearance here inside of 12 weeks. He is a special attraction for Elks' Convention Week, and is singing the Elks' Song, "The Best People On Earth." He was a riot Monday night. WINSTON'S SEA LIONS and DIVING NYMPHS 15 minutes f.s. Special set. Six sea lions and two shapely diving girls in a huge tank with a plate glass front. The work of the seals is wonderful, and the turn proved one of the very best "tank act" novelties we have ever played. The seals imitate all the dives the girls perform, as well as various underwater stunts and difficult swimming strokes. The two girls make a striking appearance and the act is mounted and handled in a thoroughly showman-like manner. A great closing feature. CUTS Nat M. Wills - "If your back itches, you've got it" gag. Dickinson & Deagon - "For God's sake" and "Go in the smoking car and sit with the men."
