Boston, Mass. B. F. Keith's July 2nd 7 THE DeMARCOS 8 minutes f.s. Special set. Man and woman on the Roman rings. Quiet opener. ADELINE FRANCIS 16 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Doing the same act she has given us several times before. RICE & WERNER in "On the Scaffold" 13 minutes f.s. Special set. Man and woman in a black-face comedy talking act. This is a good act. They got the laughs at both shows Monday, and closed to a good hand. WALTER BROWER 17 minutes in one. Garden drop. Mr. Brower went over very well on his second visit here. IDA BROOKS HUNT and ALFRED DeMANBY 18 minutes f.s. Special set. The feature of this high-class singing act is Mr. DeManby's fine baritone voice. His rendition of Kipling's "On the Road to Mandalay" is the feature of the act. They closed very strong with "My Hero" from "The Chocolate Soldier." One of the best straight singing acts we have played in some time. BROWNING and DENNY 19 minutes in one. Olio and street drops. The girl in this act is very clever. She has personality; some original songs; and puts them over in good shape. The man contributes a piano solo and "feeds" her in the numbers. The imitation of Eddie Foy is exceptionally good. A hit. BILLIE REEVES and CO in "The Right Key, But the Wrong Flat." 18 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Farce-comedy along broad lines written around Reeves' drunk impersonation. He is assisted by a man and a woman. They certainly made the audience laugh Monday night. NAN HALPERIN 27 minutes in one. Special drapery. Second time here of this clever artiste, and she scored heavily at both performances. Received a reception upon her entrance, and the finish was very big. SHEPARD RIFLE CLUB 7 minutes f.s. Special drop. 28 girls from the Shepard Norwell store in this city, dressed in khaki, in a military and picturesque drill. Strictly a local feature, but the girls did first-rate Monday night and made a satisfactory closing act. Should draw a little money. MOTION PICTURES OF PERSHING'S ARRIVAL IN FRANCE 11 minutes in one. Timely and interesting film showing Gen. Pershing's arrival at Boulogne and his enthusiastic reception in Paris. One of the troopships is also shown. Aroused considerable enthusiasm, and as we are the only house in town (except the Boston Theatre) to show them, they made a good feature. NO CUTS
