REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. Aug. 9, 1917. Conrad & Conley Two boys work in one 12 Min. Musical Offering Piano & Violin. Went Fairly Well. MME. Rialto Co. A pretty offering of song and posing with some comedy work full stage 18 Min. Went Good. Scott & Marke Comedy offering of nonsence in one 15 Min. Man and woman some singing. Went Good. The Department Store A Comedy offering by six people 22 min. special set Pretty scenery One would think that an act with Fred Ardath in would be very good from what he has done. This offering seems new and unless there is a great improvement in same it will never make good. Every one seems to be out of place and there is practically no plot to the offering. Act Gets some laughs but not enough. Went Fair. REPORT BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 13, 14 and 15. KENNEITH GRATTAN & CO.--- In a Sketch entitled "The End of a Perfect Day"--two men and a woman--(Comedy Sketch)--a lot of nonsense which went over fairly good. 15 min. full stage. TURELLY--- Musical Comedian--works in full dress; plays harmonies, does paper tearing while giving a line of comedy talk; went big; 14 min. in one. LEONARD GAUTIER'S ANIMATED TOY SHOP--- Stage setting as a toy shop--suddenly they come to life; four ponies and three dogs; (three men) Ponies and dogs do their regular stunts to the amusement of all; went good. 15 min. full st stage. This act was here about a year ago. [Signature: A S Watson]
