PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S SEPT. 10, 7 PATHE. 13 min. Mostly war pictures and a very good average. ARNOLD & TAYLOR. 15 min. A collection of very good songs carries this couple through. They have a bit of a sketch for an opener but waste little time getting to their songs, the girl singing and the man at the piano. Good results are obtained from each number and the act did very well in this spot. JACK ALFRED & CO. 12 min. A corking good acrobatic novelty worked up by three men who do an excellent routine of hand-to-hand tricks with the use of a teter board. They add novelty through the way they handle a lot of comedy talk and scored a good sized hit. BERT SWOR. 21 min. One of the Swor Brothers doing a single in blackface. His monologue consists of some war talk and nigger gags which he handles splendidly and while all of his material is not new, he makes good use of it and closed to a good hand. MARION MORGAN'S ART DANCERS. 24 min. This is the second week for this act and it held just as much attention and finished just as strong as it did last Monday. No change in the routine of dances was made. CECIL CUNNINGHAM. 21 min. Cleverly written songs which she sings to the best advantage registered this singer one of the big applause hits of the bill. Only one of the numbers used on her last visit is retained and she makes this an applause hit with a new verse on the present international condition. She also has an "orchestra" encore song that is a gem. Closed very strong. HARRY GREEN & PLAYERS. 36 min. "The Cherry Tree" is one of the most entertaining sketches we have played. It did very big for us last season and repeated this time. It is filled with laughs and splendidly acted. EDDIE & LOU MILLER. 11 min. In the next-to-closing spot these boys scored solidly with their singing. Both have excellent voices and something new in the line of two-men singing turns. The change in the bill for the night show worked even better to their advantage. LA SYLPH. 8 min. A very pretty posing act, nicely staged with a good series of pictures. Held the audience seated and won some applause. GENERAL REMARKS. An excellent show featuring comedy and singing surrounded with the Morgan Dancers in their second week and proved thoroughly satisfactory from an entertainment standpoint. For the night show the Morgan Dancers and Harry Green & Players changed places.
