REPORT BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 20, 21 and 22. YARATSKY DUO--- Young man and Woman; Russian, Gypsy and up-to-date dancing; this is a very neat act, but it did not go good here. 8 min full stage. TYLER & CROLIUS--- Man and Woman; singing and talking, principally a "nut" talking act; 13 min. in one; went poor. JACK ALFRED & COMPANY--- In a Novelty Comedy Skit entitled "Smile"---three men; t this is an acrobatic act with a running line of patter all thro; 11 min. full stage; went big. [Signature: A. S. Watson] PROGRAM Report on show playing the Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. Sept. 17, 1917. Tyler & Crolius Man and woman in one 10 Min. Comedy nut offering with some singing. Went Fairly Well. Makers Of History A Pretty posing novelty very well suited for the presant times A Patriotic offering full stage 13 Min. Presenting such men as Edison Wilson roosevelt McKinley Dewey Etc. Went Big. Texas Four Four men in one work in eve. Cloth 12 Min. Singing offering Went Well. "What Happened to Ruth" A comedy skit in full stage Man and woman. 10 Min. The comedy of the act comes from the man who works in audiennce who keeps "butting" in. Act recieves a lot of laughs. Fair Hand at finish. This act is working under difficulties as man who works in audiennce should work from a box where he could be seen but as we have no boxes the act is practically wasted.
