PHILADELPHIA B.F. KEITH'S SEPT. 24, 7 PATHE. 14 min. Only fair. THE YALTOS. 10 min. Man and woman in a neatly devised dancing number. Their work is varied and nicely executed and did very well as an opener. LEAVITT & LOCKWOOD. 9 min. This was their first visit here and the act was a good big applause winner. They have some bright talk well handled and their songs are well done, especially a medley number which brought them a big hand. They finished strong. RUDINOFF. 18 min. His act consisting of smoke pictures and whistling is unchanged but proved a very entertaining novelty and went over in good shape. KIMBERLY & ARNOLD. 19 min. "Vaudeville Moments of Enjoyment." A very good comedy and singing act by a man and woman, the latter carrying most of the comedy. She does a good bit of "nut" stuff but handles it nicely. The man has a good voice, sings one ballad. They did very well. JESSIE BUSLEY & CO. "Pansy's Particular Punch." 18 min. This sketch was played here last year by Florence Nash and while Miss Busley is undoubtedly a clever artiste, she is not exactly fitted to the role in this piece. Neither is the vehicle a suitable one. It went only fairly well. HELEN TRIX. 17 min. Her first appearance here registered a solid hit. She is assisted by her sister Josephine and the two form one of the neatest and daintiest sister-acts we have played in some time. Miss Trix plays the piano and does a couple of single numbers and also sings with her sister. Each of the numbers was well received and the girls were forced to take several bows. A very classy act. RAUL PERIERA. 17 min. This eminent violinist and his sextette of string musicians repeated the excellent impression made on their former visit. Their program consists mostly of classical numbers played very well, staged nicely and the act is one that lovers of good music are sure to enjoy. WALTER C. KELLY. "The Virginia Judge." 23 min. He was given a very warm welcome in his home town and was just as big a laughing and applause hit as ever. FOUR LUKENS. 9 min. Their classy casting act furnished the bill with an excellent closing number. Their routine is always well handled and the act makes a very nice appearance besides being a good applause winner. GENERAL REMARKS. This show played very well despite the fact that Jessie Busley, one of the strongly featured numbers, hardly came up to expectations. Several good comedy hits helped it through to a satisfactory average. CUTS KIMBERLY & ARNOLD: Elimination of line in reference to Russia being a "nice, quiet place." Also reference to Germs coming from Germany" and expression "How about your nights?" REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. SEPT. 27, 1917. Marie0 & Trevette man and woman in one special set. Operatic Singing Act. 12 Min. Fair. McNellis & Rayes man and woman in full stage 12 Min. Comedy Playlet "The Wanning Honeymoon" Went Fair. Charles Reilly Works in one 15 Min. Irish songs and stories. Went Good. Jack Wyatt Scotch Lads and lassies 11 men and women in full stage special set. Bag pipe and drums and some very good singing. 22 Min. HIT.
