BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 4, 5 and 6. MALETA BONCONI---- Celebrated Violin Virtuoso--Harry Simpson, Accompanist; Very neat; played several difficult popular airs, accompanied only by her assistant, on the piano; she said our orchestra was two small--she had been used to 16 or 18 orchestra. 12 min. in olio; went only fair. WILSON & MACK--- Man and woman--This act took the place of Hallen & Goss, who left the Scenic, Pawtucket, so I heard late to-day, Tuesday night. I don't understand why I was not notified of the fact. I got this act through the Boston Office in time for to-night's show--act shy at matinee. This is a talking and singing act and went over very good. 12 min. in one. CARSON & WILLARD--- Presenting "New York in 1947"--Two men; open in one and go to full stage with a special setting showing an exaggeration comedy idea of New York in 1947; all comedy. 17 min. went big. [Signature: A. S. W.] REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. OCT. 4, 5, 6, 1917. Davis & Piermont. Man and woman in one 12 Min. Singing Piano and French horn and cornet playing. A Fair little offering. Went Fair. Elliott & West Two men in two 10 Min. Dancing offering. Sings one song for opening. Good Act and Went Good.
