Boston, Mass., B.F.Keith's Oct.22-1917 Pictures - Hearst Pathe News covering interesting and important current events of the day. 12 minutes. Morin Sisters;-11 min., f.s.. These two girls have a very well arranged program of dances, and being fast and clever workers, made a very good opening act for our show. Mack & Vincent;-17 min. in 1. Mr. Mack of this team sings a number of songs quite new to our audience with the assistance Miss Vincent at the piano. Both have personality, and with the interesting chatter between numbers, certainly pleased our audience. Herman & Shirley; 13 min., f.s.. This act opens giving the impression of a talking sketch, but develops later simply a "Dressing" for the wonderful contortion work of the man in the act. Went over very well. Gene Green;-19 min. in 1. This clever singer was as big a hit as ever at our house. He was assisted by Walter Ford at the piano. Futuristic Revue; 24 min. f.s., special set. This is a big operatic revue with the Countess Leonardi playing the violin. The stage setting is very pretty, and the chorus and solos were very well rendered. Miss Leonardi's violin numbers and her conducting of the chorus added a great deal to the success of the act. Was well received. Shattuck & O'Neil; 17 min. in 1. Truly Shattuck and Emma O'Neil presented a novel arrangement of songs and talk and held their spot very well. Conroy & La Maire; 21 min. in 1 and 2-1/2. This act, while always a hit in this house, probably never went any bigger than they did Monday playing "The New Physician". Lydia Barry; 21 min. in 1. Regardless of the very difficult spot which Miss Barry had after Conroy & La Maire, she succeeded in registering a good sized hit. Garry McGarry & Co., 13 min. f.s. in "The Garden of Aloha". Special set. This Hawaiian novelty while being very quiet closing act, held our audience very well, but closed to a small hand. -Cut- Mack & Vincent;- Please eliminate from your act, remark about "leaving stage to become a Nun"
